Self help book?

This book is not giving you any real techniques to help you learn things such as math, English or any other subject. This book goes through techniques to posture and present your self to others, adjust your mind set and allow you read other people and manipulate a situation. It's a book for anyone with social issues or trying to climb the career ladder. I could not get through the chapters they seam rather repetitive in content. I started each chapter, and then after it started going on about reading people's perceptions of you through your body's gestured and stance, I skipped further through the chapter to see if the information being presented had changed. It had not. I started every chapter and ended up skipping through every chapter, for me this was a waste of my time and a book credit. It may however be what you are looking for. I will not judge a person for gaining a lot from this book.

I would recommend it

The author has done enough research to explain this audiobook and the research is very well rounded from various aspects, from memorization to learning language, preparing for exams, etc. I would recommend it for students and life-long learners alike.

Excellent audiobook.

Excellent audiobook. I have used some of the techniques before and they do work. It’s a great collection of both conventional and unconventional rapid learning techniques organized in an easy-to-digest manner. The audiobook is full of nuggets that can be put to immediate use. Highly recommend this audiobook.

A great learning experience.

I was skeptical at first when purchasing it for my husband. However, days, later he tells me that it is awesome and that he is learning a lot from what the lectures are teaching. He told a few people about it they said they have heard about it but never purchased thinking it wouldn't work, after hearing his experience with it they are going to purchase it now. We had learned about it from Eliot Hulse on youtube and his strength camp channel all the other stuff he had recommended has worked great on us so this was just another add on to a great learning experience.

You’ll also learn how to fuel your brain with the foods it needs to work at full capacity. I have discovered the different types of memory and how to boost each one. So informative and knowledgeable audiobook.

I have been interested in this audiobook

I consider myself a lifetime learner. I'm always listening to an audiobook, taking a course, attending a seminar or workshop - and I really enjoy new concepts or old ideas that have been repackaged. Ian's latest audiobook really showed me a lot of different ways that I can better retain all the knowledge that I'm learning so I can get more value from my investments in continuing education. Thanks

Informative audiobook

Another great, informative audiobook from the master of self-improvement, Ian Tuhovsky. I have listened to several of Ian's audiobooks and find his style very easy to follow. He explains his terms and provides clear examples and references. I particularly enjoyed his chapters on memory techniques - having had some experience of using mnemonic and loci methods - and also mind mapping - a great alternative when compiling "lists".

Very well organized and easy to listen

As a physician dedicated to life long learning I appreciated this audiobook and the multiple techniques reviewed to accelerate learning. Excellent examples were given and the audiobook was very well organized and easy to listen and digest. I can strongly recommend this audiobook to anyone interested in the art and science of learning.

Easy to understand.

A considerable measure of essential data accumulated in this audiobook. This incorporates great data that I am almost certain will help you a considerable measure to enhance your memory. It is a highly informative guide and is to understand. Accelerated learning will help you not only process information faster but also helps to make sure that you are improving your memory as well. I listen to this audiobook hoping to help me learn calculus and statistics. I'm sure the information I learned here will help me memorize formulas and so forth, but the actual application of the knowledge will still be a struggle for me.

Especially enlightening and interesting.

Especially enlightening and interesting. I value scrutinizing this audiobook. Endorsed this audiobook. I listen to this audiobook need to empower me to learn math and bits of knowledge. I'm sure the information I learned here will empower me to hold plans and whatnot, yet the genuine usage of the data will at present be a fight for me. Maybe I'll be charmingly dumbfounded be that as it may.

Effective learning.

Effective learning. The information in the audiobook was very well organized and presented, and because Ian kept the chapters shorter and more focused it was an easy listen. While I was aware of some of the techniques and methods explained in the audiobook, Ian presented the information in a way that allowed me to understand more fully, and identify ways to apply in my life, and help my high school and college kids to apply and learn more effectively.

Easy to understand

Easy to understand and to put simple techniques into practice. As an avid listener, I wondered if I was a fast listener and if I truly retained the material. It is comforting to know how to learn and retain what is listen. I've always struggled with remembering names, yet I recognize that my husband uses some of the suggested techniques and often remembers our friends and acquaintances' names, though he couldn't "train" me to do it. Now I know-how, and am having fun meeting friends new & old and calling them by name.

Nice listen!

The ideas and concepts are very well explained and you just can't wait to put them into practice. I am now in the process of pursuing a Doctoral Degree and this has come very handily for me in my scholarly studies. I really recommend its listen, it is not a long audiobook and I am sure you can make the most of its listen!

Excellent knowledge

Excellent knowledge considering the price of the audiobook. I really liked his emphasis on understanding concepts and patterns vs memorization. His memorization section wasn't bad either.
