Really enjoyed this book if you haven’t heard it you don’t know what your missing I don’t normally go for a book 2 but really glad I did.

Completely & Utterly Perfect!

This book was absolutely fantastic! There aren't enough words to describe how truly incredible it is. I adored the first book in the series, Truth & Measure, but this book was on another level altogether. Roslyn Sinclair, combined with the incomparable talent of Abby Craden, completely knocked this out of the park, nay, it's out of this world! I really didn't want the story to end and actually feel like I'm a little bit in mourning now.

Returning to NYC to visit Vivian and Jules again was epic! I loved the continuation of their journey from the events of the first book. It felt like a completely natural progression. Although, I really liked how this story could plausibly be a stand-alone novel, even if you hadn't read Truth and Measure first.

Roslyn's already impeccable descriptive imagery was kicked into high gear in this book. I felt completely transported. The description was so utterly incredible that during quite a few scenes, my heart was pounding that hard, I thought I was actually going to pass out at one point. It wasn't just the description that was pushed further, but so, too, were the character developments. All the characters felt even more well-rounded, but getting to know Jules and Vivian more was like a gift. Especially learning more about Vivian. She is so beautifully complex, I already loved her from the first book, but after this story, I'd give the woman a kidney if she asked. I felt so connected to both of the leading ladies that I teared up quite a few times, and during one particular very heightened moment, I fully sobbed like a baby.

If I were to actually write everything I loved about this book, it would probably be the same length as my dissertation essay from my uni days. I can't recommend this book highly enough. It is utter perfection! One thing I know for certain is that I will return to visit Vivian and Jules many more times in my life!

Phew, what a writer, so very talented and creative which leaves me wanting more. I have listened to all her books and Roslyn is becoming my favourite author and I definitely recommend this and all her books. I can't wait to see what's next! OUTSTANDING. 💯

Oh wow! Beautifully written and narrated. The way Jules and Vivien gel together is amazing. The sex scenes are so hot. Listening to this made me want to be twenty five again and experience a love like this.
