About the author: Mustaq Ahmed Yusufi is an Urdu satirical and humour writer from Pakistan who has also served as the head of several national and international governmental and financial institutions. He received Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Hilal-e-Imtiaz, the highest literary honors by the Governmet of Pakistan in 1999.

I wanted to read this book for ages but was too busy.I found it here, excellent narration by Mr Khan and yousufi sb humour and command of language is second to none .

Yousufi sahib has always been on of my favourites. What makes this audiobook stand out is the brilliant narration style, so reminiscent of the late Zia Mohiuddin sahib. Great work. Thoroughly enjoyed listening. Look forward to more work from you, Mr. Fawad Khan

زمانہ طالب علمی میں اردو ادب سے مجھے جنون کی حد تک عشق تھا مگر عرصہ سے یورپ میں آ بسنے کے بعد بوجہ قلتِ وقت کتابوں سے دوری بڑھتی گئی اور اس کی جگہ آڈیو بکس نے لے لی۔ اس آڈیو بک کو سننے کے بعد دوبارہ شدت سے یہ احساس جاگا ھے کہ مجھے کتابوں سے رشتہ دوبارہ جوڑنا چاہیے ۔یہ کتاب تو یوسفی صاحب کا شاہکار ہے ہی مگر فواد خان نے اس کو پڑھنے کا بھی حق ادا کیا ھے ۔ اگر آپ کو اردو کی سمجھ بوجھ ھے تو اس آڈیو بک کو ضرور سنیے ، امید ھے کہ آپ کو ضرور پسند آئے گی۔

کتاب بہت دلچسب انداز میں نریٹ کی گئ ہے ۔لیکین بعض جگہ تلفظ ٹھیک نہیں۔
یوں بہت اچھا پڑھا ہے۔
کہانی دلچسب ہے لیکین کئ جگوں پر بورنگ ہو جا تی ہے۔مزاح کئ جگہ اچھا ہے۔ کئ جگہ میرے مزاج سے مطاپقت نہیں رکھتا۔طوائفوں اور بازار حسن کا ذکر غیر ضروری ہے اور بہت زیا دہ زکر ہے،جس کی ضرورت نہیں تھی۔ کئ جگہ زبان کا استعمال بھی نا مناسب ہے۔
بہت زیا دہ مردوں پر فوکس کیا گیا ہے۔
عورتوں کی عزت نظر نہیں آتی۔ کئ ایشوز پہ اچھا بولا گیا ہے۔ شاید ہی دوبارہ سنوں۔افسوس کہ واپس نہیں کر سکتی، کیو نکہ خریدے ہوئے سال سے اوپر ہو گیا ہے۔

آج کے زمانہ کے لئے نہیں ہے۔
