Summary

"How to Minimize the Downside and Maximize the Benefits of Living With ADHD? (Fascinating three-part book series reveals the real truth)

I was wrong. Dead wrong.

Once I thought that there is only one way of ADHD and that being almost impossible to focus is the main problem people with ADHD have. Turns out...I was wrong....

Maybe because that was my form of ADHD, and once I managed to beat it, I was so excited to help everybody else, but before that, I needed to do much more research because this was just one piece of the puzzle. And I did....

For the last five years, it has been my love and passion - to help other people with ADHD treat their condition, discover and embrace their strengths, and minimize their weaknesses toward achieving extraordinary success in this world, and realize that this is not a condition that is going to determine how you have to live life. And I put all that knowledge inside this book.

Here is just a fraction of it:

  • What are the symptoms of ADHD, and how to know if you have it or not? (no more confusion)
  • Can you develop ADHD as an adult, and is it possible to reverse it?
  • How to treat ADHD in adults without medicine? (a crucial chapter for everyone willing to commit to a little longer but drug-free self-healing journey)
  • What is the best treatment for inattentive ADHD (ADHD-PI)?
  • Women vs. Men with ADHD, what are the differences and how you treat them differently?
  • What are the leading causes of ADHD? (it’s crucial to understand this condition before you take any severe action)
  • How do I know if my toddler has ADHD and the step-by-step plan to treat it from a young age successfully?
  • What are the main benefits of having ADHD, and how do you use them to your advantage in life? (you’ll be surprised once you put these strategies into action)
  • How to help a child to study and at school so they can pass all the classes and even more?
  • What is it like to be in a relationship with someone who has ADHD, and how to build a lifelong relationship that doesn’t break?
  • How a person with ADHD thinks? (let’s dive deep into the ADHD brain and uncovered the scientific truth about it)
  • Much much more....

And no matter if you have a child with ADHD, a grown-up friend, a relationship with a person, or have the condition yourself. This book series will take you by the hand and lead you through every step towards living the best life you or your loved ones can!

Perfect book.

Great. As I listen to it, new insights and related anecdotes blew my mind over and over again. I strongly advise it for everyone, especially if you work or live with someone who has ADHD, or if you have a child who has it.

Written by a neurotypical, out dated and useless

Pretty much a useless audio book. I see what people mean by the narrator. The author doesn't have adhd which makes this book heavily biased as adhd is not just about unable to focus. There's soo many other prevelant symptoms however it doesn't even touch up on it on the first book. I'm surprised this is an American who wrote this considering their own dsm 5 does not mention add at all. It's been changed to combined, inattentive or hyperactive. The entire audio is really a parrot repeating the same crap over and over again about focus focus focus focus focus 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️. I have adhd, I have an office job! And I work in a bank!!! Such useless audio and a waste of time. The entire information is heavily outdated. Do not buy there considering its heavily biased written by a neurotypical who can't even understand adhd, observed only by his brother he cared for 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️. Adhd is not all the same!! Can't belive this crap information out there.

Wonderful.

The audiobook provides accurate explanations of how the ADHD brain works, as well as numerous techniques to cope with its strengths and limitations. The writers cover a variety of solutions that are practical to implement, but I felt the book's easy-to understand explanation of the ADHD brain's inner workings was particularly impressive.

Easy to understand.

Whether you have ADHD or not, this book is quite useful. Thomas Robert has a fantastic writing style, and the book flows smoothly and is enjoyable to listen to. I rapidly understood that my first assumptions were completely incorrect, and that this was going to be an absolutely fantastic and potentially life-changing audio.

Inspiring book.

I've already put some of the book's suggestions into practice. It was a fantastic recording. This is real life with ADHD, and she manages to keep it within the confines of what we can all tolerate with humor. You will not be disappointed if you purchase and listen to this book.

Great ideas

My son has ADHD, and I've been trying to educate myself on the condition so that we can have a better understanding of one other. This book is a lifesaver. It's perfect, and it's just what I've been looking for.

Awesome!

This is a fantastic book. There's a lot of practical advice here that you can start using right away. I read it, and now my husband is going to read it (we both have ADHD), and we're going to work together to get our lives back on track!

Excellent, insightful.

Scientific book for newer diagnosed ADHD adult. The authors did an excellent job making the book relatable to us who are not doctors or primarily interested in the chemical components of ADHD and our brains.

Nice ideas!!

This is an excellent book for anyone with ADHD, as well as their relatives and friends. This is an ADHD-friendly book. Not very wordy, plenty of white space on the page, effective use of bullet points, and helpful hints Many of the ideas I already had, but there is also a lot of fresh knowledge. I wish this book had been available 10 years ago!!

Practical examples

I've listened to a lot of books about organization and developing new habits/routines in an attempt to figure out why I can't seem to achieve long-term results or sustainable change. Those books, on the other hand, were not written with the ADHD brain in mind. This book IS, and it's made a world of difference.

Very relatable!!

This book is well-thought-out and, dare I say, well-organized. I've already finished listening to the book twice. I've found it to be both educational and useful.

Truly Helpful Book.

I was blown away by how accurately I recognized myself in the first few chapter of this book. I had the sense of being seen and heard. I also came away with some ideas for my own "therapy plan." Both authors have ADHD, which I believe contributed significantly to their level of knowledge and insight. The novel instills optimism in the reader.

Nice.

I had just returned from spending time with my 11-year-old grandson, who had recently been diagnosed with ADHD but not hyperactivity. The next day, I went out and bought the book. The fresh information that has been uncovered piqued my attention. Thank you for pointing out that persons with this disability may be a gift to the world if they are treated properly.

Good.

I can't stand the generic and nebulous advice I've seen on many blogs and in books regarding ADHD. I'm looking for specific things I can do right now to help, and that's exactly what I found in this book. I didn't give her five stars since some of her anecdotes were too long.
