Summary
The long journey down the highway has come to an end, and as Chris and his girls at last find the town of Pine Lake, they discover that tragedy has struck.
Raiders have burned down almost the entire town. Most of the population is dead, missing, or scattered across the region. Food reserves and medicine stocks were lost in the fire. Dangerous men and animals roam the frozen wilderness as temperatures plummet.
Though met with distrust at first, Chris soon becomes instrumental in helping rescue the survivors of Pine Lake before they lose everything....

Now for soem town building!
I have received this free copy for an honest review. This is an awesome stry of survival and lust. Our mc is a good man that looks like a bad man but just wants to help, and is strangely well suited for this new post apocalyptic winter world. So he does, he helps others, women specially, who are more than eager to thank him for it. The mc finally takes his partners ti the town they wanted but they find it in bad shape and are received with mistrust. But he doesn't give up, earns their trust, gets new partners, fights for and saves the town, becoming a hero. But it seems he still has troubles of his own to face. The narration is great, very intense and involving but also clear and easy to understand. 100% recommendes if you like the type.
