I enjoy this series, and Kim M Watt's writing. I've been following the reading order on the website, with the DI Adams books running alongside the Beaufort Scales ones, which has been fun. I would prefer the narrator to be a bit less stuttery, as it takes away from the storyline. I wasn't impressed by the recipes being interspersed between chapters of the story, rather than being left until the end, but I just skipped them and carried on.
