Summary
Lightning isn’t the only thing streaking in small-town Wisconsin.
Warlock Raibeart MacGregor is on the prowl and looking for his true love. He has only one question for any lassie he meets, “Will ya marry me?” With his sanity often questioned by those who know him best, Raibeart believes there is a method to his madness. At least he hopes so. He’s convinced his true love exists, but he just can’t seem to find her.
Plagued by nightmares, he’s compelled to run himself to exhaustion each night to keep them at bay. The fact that he prefers to drop the kilt while doing so is just a bonus. But when those nightmares begin to bleed into reality, he realizes the woman he’s been searching for is literally the one tormenting his dreams.
Katherine Galbraith has been imprisoned by magick for so long that she can’t even remember what her crime was beyond the vague impression that she once loved a warlock. Bound to a world that never changes, she spends her days wishing for an end. But when prison walls begin to crack, she must decide if she wants a second chance at lost love or if that love is the reason for all her suffering.
Magic, mischief, and kilts!
From the Highlands of Scotland to the valleys of Wisconsin.... A modern-day Scottish paranormal romance by New York Times best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow.

Finally, Uncle Railbeart's Story
Another great listen as audio version of the story and love the audio version especially as great Scottish accent brings the characters to life.
I really enjoy this series and they are wonderful, feel good, fun, magical and laugh out loud books to read and listen to.
This time we finally get to delve into Uncle Railbeart's story and discover the background and history to what makes this adorable and humourous character. Be prepared for unusual, mysterious and magical adventure that takes you on an interesting, fun and enjoyable magical mystery rollercoaster. I especially love the series as great imagination of Michelle M Pillow to create different stories for each MacGregor warlock to meet up with their mates, albeit always in unexpected and totally magical unusual ways!
Great combo of humour, supernatural, magic, romance and sexy Scottish clan of warlocks.

Yes! Uncle Raibeart!!!
Ah, that was the one everyone was looking forward to: finally, Uncle Ray's story!
And what a fun turn that was... I had often wondered how his story would go, as he is such a special character and has such a strong presence even for a secondary character in other's story. I am very pleased with how the author made his story, and feel like the cat who got to eat the cream! Well done!.

Wow
So, Raibeart has a very unique way of finding his true love as well as a way of trying to literally outrun his nightmares. Katherine has been stuck for so long, she no longer knows the reason. When theses two begin to overlap, you will be surprised by what happens next.
As always, the Warlock MacGregors have a while ride to get to their HEA.

Rairbeart's time has come.
I have been looking forward to reading Raibeart story. This story explains some of Raibeart eccentric behaviour. This is a wonderfull story and Katherine is Raibeart's forever love. They just have to find and remember each other. I loved this story although it does not have as much humour as previous books.
The narration is perdect.

Book ten in series
Throughout the series there was a character that always brought a smile with his antics. Raibeart was unpredictable (or was that predictably naked). Here in this tale he may finally get an answer to the question he has asked every woman.
As ever the story has been well written, my only gripe is that there appears significantly less humour, all the MacGregors are maturing as they marry off and there are less antics- a pity as that was a key feature of the early books.

Intriguing
This story was super confusing at first I had a hard time understanding what was going on but then the main characters didn’t know yet either and things later became clearer dealing with Alice was frustrating and took a lot of effort but it was entertaining and very satisfying when things took a turn for the better and I enjoyed how the book ended

Railbeart’s Happy Ending
Railbeart has been one of my favourite characters throughout this series and it’s great to see him get his own book and his happy ending. This explains some of his eccentric behaviour and we get to meet his one true love. I’ve loved the audio’s of these books and Michael Ferraiuolo never fails to deliver.

The odd wizard and the jealous witch
I love how the main hero has his own way of doing things. Also how she stands up for him.
Plus their is an amazing Umberbridge type death (if anyone else is a Harry fan you will totally agree).

Finally that beloved goofball gets a HEA!!!
This is so hysterical. horrific and super sweet. I've read the book now I've listened to the audiobook. I can honestly say I prefer the audiobook for 2 reasons. Michael's narration is so much more vivid than my mind. His voices bring the book to life. Plus while I was laughing hysterically I didn't have to worry about dropping my phone or a book and loosing my page.
Finally we have Raibeart's book and it explains a lot. Four new characters are introduced. Three are fantastic, 2 of which I hope gets books. One however is almost as vile as the devil himself. There's also a revelation that made my jaw drop to the floor.
Raibeart and Katherine (must listen to audiobook to find out who she is.) are literally put through hell and back. Not once, but twice. It's all courtesy of the evil, vile biotch Alice.
We also find out that if it wasn't for Donovan and Gregory (must listen to audiobook to find out who they are.) Raibeart would have been dead long ago. Due Alice's eardrum shattering screeching and wailing.
There are some fantastic comical one liners and phrases as well. Such as what Raibeart calls his "third leg." What he says the ghost granny's moonshine does to him and even what he plans on naming Maura and Jackson's baby. I agree 100% with his answer to the devil’s greatest trick. Katherine thinking that Crow being goth meant that she was a "creature" and not human. And Cait burning his pants instead of mending them. Oh and I can't forget the bee costume. :) :) :)
For all the horrid things Alice did to Katherine and Raibeart that made me sad, the one liners made me laugh out loud.
Michelle M Pillow's mind never ceases to amaze me. Her books are top notch and this is no exception. And nobody can do her books justice the way Michael does. He's an amazing narrator with fantastic voice talent.
My advice to you is this, ONE CLICK.... ONE CLICK....GO ON....DON'T WAIT

Loved It!
I was so excited to finally get Raibeart's story. It was wonderful to be in his head and hear his thoughts. My heart went out to Katherine and what she suffered. As with all the books, I love the use of magic in this world- especially surrounding the MacGregor family. We meet some new characters and have another crazy adventure full of suspense, action, and mystery. Wonderful!
Another fantastic job of narration by the talented Michael Ferraiuolo. He brings all these characters to life in a way only he can, and as always, it's a joy to listen to.

For Love
This is Railbeart and Katherine's story. He's thought to be a strange one and she is locked in Magick prison. If she gets out will she go for a second chance? What will Railbert do when he sees Katherine?.

This series gets better with each new addition. I love that Raibert finally found his true love. This story has so many good things going on. You get a wonderful romance, Raibert being Raibert, and a really good villain. Not to mention a few surprises along the way. I loved everything about this book!.

Raibeart & Katherine defeat evil
Book ten in the Warlocks MacGregor series, and I will say to date this is my favorite in the series. Warlock Raibeart MacGregor for centuries has been the one everyone called crazy, but he remembers someone. Katherine Galbraith runs from the prison she has been spelled to remain for many centuries, when something happens to it. Donovan and Gregory come back into their lifes. There is suspense, drama, danger, a really nasty villain and love. I would recommend. Michael Ferraiuolo brings this story to life his voice is so good.

Raibert and Katherine
Another great audiobook addition to the McGregor series. Uncle Raibeart saw things more clearly than his family in other Albion’s. But he drinks his whiskey, pulls pranks, asks every woman to marry him, loves and spoils children and loves to run naked every night. Now we understand the reason why Raibeart acts the way he does. He is being cursed by the thrall that stole his magic. He was cursed to forget the human he loved.
Katherine has been tormented for centuries. She doesn’t know why. She is a human that watched her family live and die through an enchanted mirror. But the crack in her prison is her escape. She is finding her family that she forgot. She finds the man she loved. But the torment is about to begin again.
Great story with intrigue, mystery, suffering, supernaturals, family loyalty, love, and McGregor family pranks. I always eagerly await each new audiobook addition to this series.

Raibert
The Scottish Warlocks MacGregor have lived around the world on their long lives and now live in Wisconsin. They are a large, close-knit, loving family full of magic, wit, humor, brazen challenges, and fun. Raibert MacGregor is my favorite MacGregor. He is a bit odd, funny, and clever. He has been hunting his love for centuries. He asks every woman he meets to marry him. No luck so far. His nightly runs are an attempt to escape the nightmares he has of a woman he can’t remember. Katherine Galbraith ha been imprisoned by an evil enthrall for centuries, because she loves a warlock. Apparently, Alice the Evil is jealous and is punishing Katherine and Raibert for what she considers a slight. What she really wants is Raibert’s magick, and she can’t have him and Katherine together to get it. Will the MacGregor’s find a way to defeat her? The story is fill with danger, magick, MacGregor humor and mischief. The story is exciting, and the characters are entertaining. There are a few surprises in this one, and just maybe Raibert will finally get his happy ending. Great narration by Michael Ferraiuolo.

That Tricky (W)itch!!!
Raibert has been my favorite from his first on page appearance, and that never changed. Him with Jewel, and especially him with baby Abigail; but also him with all his nephews and how he's always there for everyone, and how he's always, always right even when people don't pay him any attention... I loved it all, and I was so eager to find out what kind of a woman would finally break him out of his befuddlement. I was happy to finally have insight into his nightly streaking antics, and figured it had something to do with how he'd find his mate. I also suspected it may be something exactly like the scenario presented in this book, so I was even remotely surprised, but I WAS a bit flummoxed by the circumstances around his enthrall encounter; I almost had to pull the car over to calm myself down, because there's NO WAY!! And I'm glad I was mostly right about that... Catherine was an interesting character, and while I'd be satisfied if this series ended here, because I love Raibert's story, I love all the MacGregor's and I do want to see more of Catherine, so I'm glad there's another book.
