overall a good book, not as good as the last one though. unfortunately it was spoiled by the forced insertion of woke moments, that were completely unnecessary and broke the flow of the story for no reason! breaking the story just for the sake of pushing it.

good but moments that spoiled it.

These may be monster spice but I love the stories and the Duskwalkers are adorable, this one was no different and probably one of my favourites so far, although each book focuses on different couples the underlying story continues throughout the series, I loved the banter between Merrick and Ray, and as usual this got me a little emotional at times which I never expected going in to this series, great to listen to on audio again, can't wait for the rest of the books and the prequels to come out to listen to.
