It's a time of great discovery and adventure. William desperately tries to cement his legacy into this revolution of industry with little success until he is gifted some designs for a space rocket.

Brilliant
Once again I listened to an incredible book. Start to finish is excellent. Author is amazing and Narrator did a great job.

More Lunacy from Simon Carr
Another lunatic premise from Simon Carr with hilarious dialog and fun characters. Unfortunately I think the choice of Narrator for this one wasn't the best as the foreign accent didn't work with the story. British humour is best done in a British accent.
Still very good fun though

Another side splitting story by Simon car
Gordon the daughter of an inventor thought to be dead ask William another inventor to finish the invention her dad had started before his “death“ what the hell, but in actuality because of his assistant who he called mumbasa, Who insist is from Africa but in reality it’s from Mexico. Anyway he builds the rocket ship with really no help from William and during the building of the rocket ship who would show up but Gordon‘s dad whose name I cannot pronounce. He helps Mumbasa finish The rocket ship and then they settle for the moon, taking along the housekeeper of course. It’s while they’re on the moon they kidnap a little moon man whose name is Cecil thank God they do because when their rocket ship is taken by a giant gorilla looking animal Cecil is the only one who can help. This is where the adventure really begins in oh what an adventure it is. Leave it to Simon car to make a trip to the moon not only interesting but totally hilarious. I am obsessed with Simon Carr books and cannot get enough of them and this one is no exception. Every time I read a new book by him it is always my new favorite. I highly recommend this book if you love the lab then you’ll love this book. Even if you’re not in to space stories no worries it’s so funny you’ll be too busy laughing to ever think about it.

Unconventional Humorous Story
I was entertained by this story. The humor was quirky, raucous, and sometimes offensive, but Simon Carr's stories always make me laugh out loud, and this story had its moments where that happened. Amadeus' narration was great. and his performance was entertaining. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily posted this review.

This is another fun story from Simon Carr.
This is another fun story from Simon Carr. "A Rocket to the Blasted Moon!" is set in the industrial revolution and basically a man showing everyone he will be the first to the moon. This book is a hilarious romp and absolutely entertained every minute. Audio Verson: Amadeus did a good job narrating each character.
