Summary

I appreciate I am a fortunate person. I love to travel and equally adore writing poems. Happily, I am able to combine the two in many of my poetry collections. For Knowing Where To Look I travelled further and explored deeper than ever before. You hold the results in your very hands. Enjoy this collection as much as I enjoyed travelling and creating it for you. And if in doubt do write a poem, that is always good!

Walking the length of Broadway one afternoon, on a winter’s day.

White Cliffs Dover to Deal and then back, 22 miles said the sign by the track.

Through a quagmire in Cheshire rain, knee deep in mud, no pain no gain.

Blackpool seafront gales raging, precipitation, staying on the ground main preoccupation.

Calais ferry cancelled, no room at any inn, sleeping on the beach, really gotta grin.

Playing golf on a hillside as darkness descended, loosing far more balls than I ever intended.

Most uncomfortable mountain bike ever made, ridden off road, bruises that required first aid.

Free-climbing mountains once my great passion, discovering free-falling not quite the fashion.

Yet one passion I will forever seemingly adore, to walk new places, travel and explore…
