Özet

It’s spring, and love is in the air! Wedding bells are almost chiming for Lady Lily and Viscount Tobias, but will a dark family secret resurface to spoil their nuptials?

Tabitha and Wolf have just arrived back in London after their relaxing stay in Corfu. They haven’t thought about murder investigations for almost two months. However, any hopes they have that this respite might last a little longer are shattered when the groom’s father, Clarence Williams, the Earl of Warwick, is accused of murder just before Tobias’ wedding day to Lady Lily. Can Tabitha and Wolf clear the earl’s name in time for the wedding to proceed as planned? And what on earth is the dowager doing teaming up with Uncle Duncan, of all people?

Will Lady Lily and Viscount Tobias walk down the aisle and live happily ever after? Only if Tabitha and Wolf, with the help of the dowager and Uncle Duncan, can find the true killer.

Not such a diverse cast of characters as previously and the predictable Dowager Countess plot twist is quite tired now.

Not much of a story…

Unfortunately I don’t like this narrator’s delivery. There was a lot of waffle in the writing and the two combined made this book heavy going. I didn’t finish it. It’s a shame because there’s a lot going for it as a concept for a series, but the characters lack appeal & depth.

Disappointing
