After his wife is brutally murdered, police officer Kyle Willing will do whatever it takes to bring her killer to justice.
As Kyle grapples with loss and raising his eight-year-old son on his own, he is given an opportunity for revenge by his brother-in-law, best-selling mystery writer Thomas Drake. Drake can give Kyle just what he wants: a chance at catching his wife's killer.
But can Kyle trust his sister's husband? The two men have been rivals since high school, and it appears that Drake might have an agenda of his own.
As Drake takes steps to orchestrate the perfect murder, Kyle must decide how far he is willing to go to get revenge. He will have to choose between upholding the laws he was sworn to protect and exacting his own unique brand of justice.
When a man loses everything, how far will he go for revenge?
