Great book, Love to see the shy FMC come out of herself around her Alphas. Lovely small town romance. Plus it has an amazing cat.

The narrative and characters were insipid, the book lacks pace and, where I would usually take a few days to listen to a book of this length, this book took me over a week before DNF 2.5 hrs before the end because I couldn’t take it any more. I got a refund from Audible.

It’s a shame because elements have potential (shout out Felix), the MMCs (but I felt like we barely scraped the surface with them so the connection was shallow and I wasn’t invested). There wasn’t anything to look forward to because most big steps came at the beginning of the book 🤷🏼‍♀️. There was nowhere to go from there.
