Not great

Would you try another book written by Veronica Henry or narrated by Anna Bentinck?

I love Anna Bent ink and I have specifically search for books narrated by her. I have thoroughly enjoyed other veronica Henry books but this one lacked something.

What was most disappointing about Veronica Henry’s story?

I think it was the momentum of the story.

Would you be willing to try another one of Anna Bentinck’s performances?

Think I've listened to most of them as I love the character voices she uses.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Night on the Orient Express?

It was just lacking something for me.

Very enjoyable, easy listening.

I really enjoyed this book, the writing was very good, moving seamlessly from character to character. The story lines where strong and held detailed information of each person involved.
Beautifully narrated, defiantly recommend.

Summertime chick lit

The way that Veronica Henry brings together several stories portrayed in one venue always makes me enjoy her writing. It's lighthearted brain fluff and just what I need after a few heavy titles. Satisfying endings too. Perfect summertime listening.

Wonderful a book that leaves you wanting more

I was totally drawn in from the first chapter Anna the narrator had the most soothing voice. I particularly liked that each chapter was dedicated to each individual story .This was my first veronica Henry book but it won't be my last .The descriptions of the orient express and the journey on the train and Venice really brought the story to life . I loved it .

Delightful

A delicious miscellany of characters, expertly. Whisked to a satisfying conflict. A great read !

Depressing narration

The narration of this is truly terrible…. whiney, whingey and depressing. Except for the ‘adverts’ at the beginning which were so forced they seemed to take the reader a great deal of effort and jarred terribly. Tried to listen many times, but never got past chapter 2 ~ I just had to make it stop! Such a shame, I love Veronica Henry

Enjoyable escapism

There are several threads woven through this story with predictable outcomes but there enough twists to keep it engaging. I enjoyed the evocative descriptions.
