Summary
Have you ever wanted to date a vampire? Human women required. Must be enthusiastic about interactions with vampires. Must be willing to undergo a stringent medical exam. Must be prepared to sign a contractual agreement which would include a non-disclosure clause. Limited positions available....
York has always wanted a female of his very own. One to love and care for. One who will love him in return. More than anything he wants a family...he longs to hear the sound of children's laughter filling his home. It is his deepest desire.
Since most vampire females are not able to birth young, a program is started to ensure the continuation of the vampire species. The vampire elite must fight, fist and fang, for a much sought after place in the program and a chance to date human women. There are a multitude of beautiful human females in attendance. They have been handpicked to ensure that they are irresistible to vampire males. Why is it then that York wants the one female he can't have?
When Cassidy is selected for the trial phase of the program, she is ecstatic. This is the break she's been waiting for. Her job is to root out any vampires with bloodlust. She's quaking in her boots because she could end up dead. This position certainly isn't for sissies. Thing is, it's only three days of her life. All she needs to do is to allow a few of them to drink from her and survive long enough to get paid. Then she's home free. Besides, she quit her job in order to be here so she so doesn't have any other options available to her. Three days...pity one big, badass vampire is determined to get in the way of her plans.

Good Read
I enjoyed this book but felt it was dragged out in some of the chapters,I do like my vamp/shifter books but hate when authors pad out chapters with unnecessary actions but don't let that stop you from enjoying this book

Extension of the Chosen Series
Wonderful story of one of the Elite vampires who are given the chance to find their mate in the Programe, human woman are given the chance to have their blood taken, live in the castle , an a chance to find a vampire of their dreams, great story that includes the vampire kings, and includes very hot an sexy vampires, who are all looking for their mates.

a good read
I enjoyed this book was similar to other vampire books but had it's own spin on the story which made it different but similar at the same time I liked the strong female character all the was trough as I like that in these types of books (as I don't like reading a book with a strong female character then half way through they seem to submit then need the man to do everything for them an turn whine) would definitely recommend

Utterly Fantastic Storyline. I've Read Them All By One. Which Is On My Next To Do List. Highly Recommended For Vampire /Shifter Romance Fans Everywhere. Only One Problem Once You Start Reading You Will Be Unable To Stop Until You've Read Them All. Highly Addictive Read With Non Stop Action.

Loved this story
These stories about 'Mates' are absolutely great. I have listened to this a couple of times along with the mate for Gideon . It's such a shame that there aren't any more on audible, I'm sure the fans of this genre would snap them up if there were.
Narration was superb and I would highly recommend this .
