A Love to Buzz About

I really enjoyed this book! Such a sweet love story that has a little bit of drama to keep you hooked. I’m not sure how I feel about the narration. When female voices were used, it was fantastic, but with the men I felt it was off. Almost like talking through your nose. That being said it was still enjoyable and I will probably be listening to her again.

I don't know about you but I needed this romance

I've listened to quite a few of Meredith Potts cozy mystery books. The main character in the stories is Sabrina Daley. A love to buzz about is the prequel romance between her and her detective boyfriend. I really glad Meredith wrote this story as the background to Sabrina's relationship was sweet and fills some gaps in the Daley Buzz series.

Sabrina's previous relationship was a disappointment. It leaves her cautious when it comes to finding new love. David Carlson is a detective which means he's time is devoted to the job. When David visits Sabrina's coffee shop the chemistry is instant but she doesn't want to be second best.

David is determined to have a chance with Sabrina, even after he's job proves to make it difficult.

This is a sweet romance about making it work.

I listened to A Love to Buzz About and enjoyed the narrative. This can be read as a standalone story.

*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Great Read

A Love to Buzz About was another great read by Meredith Potts. Sabrina has been hurt by love and finds herself having a hard time opening up to love again. She meets David and is attracted to him, but she is afraid of dating a detective. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by Meredith Potts.

Sabrina & David!

After knowing Sabrina and David from the cozy mystery series I have listened to, I am so excited that I was able to see how it all began! Living through the tragedies that have happened at Treasure Cove, this brings it all full circle. Sabrina is a barista in her family coffee shop. David is a local police detective who has now enjoyed the coffee and is attracted to Sabrina. Just coming out of a relationship though Sabrina is hesitant. Will these two find their happily ever after? I fell in love with this couple from the start. Sabrina is a spunky woman, and she knows herself, except when it comes to David. David is much more in tune with where their relationship should go and his perseverance is appealing. It's a fun, romantic story, giving me the history of these two as well as a quick look at Treasure Cove. Little do these two know what is in store for them!!! Stephanie Quinn is Sabrina and David for me, and I am so glad she brought their love to life.

Good clean read

ya-only-means-no-gratuitous-erotica, romance, short

A meaningful young romance/coming of age short story that is also kind of a prequel to the Treasure Cove mysteries. Sabrina works at the family coffee shop, The Daily Buzz, and begins a new relationship rather warily after being bummed out by her first boyfriend. But she learned and grew from that experience. A good read!

Great Story

This was a great story. Sabrina seemed a little selfish but I’m glad things worked out the way they did. I would definitely recommend this book.

Cozy love story

I loved this sweet romance between a barista and a police detective. The book moves through their relationship, and the challenges the main character feels based on her previous dating history. I enjoyed the story! I did not like the narrator's male character voices, but move past it as the story progressed.

Sweet Romance

Sabrina Daley has been burnt in the past. Does she dare open herself up to the possibility of a new love? Particularly since Detective David Carlson is often called away for his job.

Can Sabrina and David make their relationship work, or are they both destined to be apart?

The story is well written and kept my attention. Narrator Stephanie Quinn is new to me and I enjoyed her performance although I did feel that her male voice let her down a bit, but then that is just my opinion.

SELFISHNESS VS. SELFLESSNESS

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review

I loved the way Meredith made me feel as if Sabrina was being a true woman in the beginning and became a selfish shrew when it came to David. Wanting to give Sabrina everything within his means, David went to extremes to make her happy. It took a conversation with the self-centered alcoholic, ex-boyfriend to bring her to her senses. All-in-all, the book is well-written and the theme comes across very clearly.

The narration was good. Somehow, the woman narrator couldn’t get the tone right for the men.

this is the first time i have used audible for the Author. I enjoyed the story and loved the ending. The only thing was not to excited About The Narrator, some of the voices annoyed me but over all a great job.
