Summary

Warning: This is one dark, dangerous, dirty-talking, adrenaline-fueled thrill ride. Are you ready?

I've got a big c*ck, a bigger bank account, and zero interest in happily ever after. I just want to feel alive, to look into a woman's eyes and see something that's going to keep my mind off all the shit I refuse to think about for an hour or two.

And then I meet her, a good girl with a body made for sin and ugly problems only a bad man can fix.

A bad man like me....

Gabe Alexander is the devil. Or an angel.

He's a criminal hiding behind a millionaire dollar pedigree, but he also saved my life and my family. He's the worst kind of bad news, but every time he touches me, and whispers filthy, beautiful things in my ear, all I want is more.

More of his kiss, his touch, and the dangerous, seductive things he makes me feel.

I don't want to go bad, but the man makes it feel so damned good....

Warning part the second: A Love So Dangerous is the first in a three-part series. It is a full-length novel that ends in a cliffhanger. It was formerly published as One Wild Night and This Wicked Rush by Jessie Evans.

Like A Thief In The Night

Wow! What a thrilling romance story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Gabe and Caitlin together are so contradictory yet absolutely combustible. Circumstances brought them together but their chemistry is what makes them explode.

It was annoying that this story was broken into a 3 book series when it could just as easily been told in 1 book, 2 at the most.

The narrators were so compelling that I just couldn't stop listening. Erin Mallon is one of my favorite narrators and Lance Greefield blended will with her.

The series is worth the credit maybe 2 credits, but 3 credits is a bit much. But it was worth the reduced price I paid. Can't wait to finish the series.

GOOD LISTEN

I liked this book pretty much. The story keeps you INTERESTED. The narration is GOOD! I'm pretty disappointed that the book was so short and ended on a major cliffhanger! these audible books are not cheap and paying $10 or a credit for 6 hours is a little unreasonable. I purchased because of the good reviews without paying enough attention to the length of the book. now that I'm sucked in, I guess I'll be paying $10 for a 4 hour Book 2. Just keep this in mind before purchasing BOOK 1.😞 you'll be paying over $35 or 3 credits for about 15 hours of listening time.

A Love So Good!

Would you consider the audio edition of A Love So Dangerous to be better than the print version?

That's a tough question because I absolutely loved the book, but the audio version definitely brought the story to life.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Love So Dangerous?

When Gabe and Caitlyn have sex for the first time.

Have you listened to any of Lance Greenfield and Erin Mallon ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't heard them before but I thought that they did a fantastic job reading these characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending when Gabe is trying to end things with Caitlyn. I was difficult to read but heartbreaking to listen to.

Any additional comments?

I love this series and I can't wait to listen to the rest of the books.

AMAZING!!

This book was so much more than the blurb states. Caitlin has been left to care for her 3 brothers and niece. Gabe is an upstanding guy on the outside but underneath lurks a criminal. When Caitlin and Gabe cross paths, he brings her into his world as his partner in crime.

I really loved Caitlin and Gabe. Gabe was a good guy deep down and it showed in his relationship with Caitlin. They were only supposed to only spend the summer together and that had me super suspicious about Gabe. He just seemed so intent to end it but I was shocked by his secret. The ending....OMG. I would have never thought that would happen. I cant wait for the next book.

The narration of this book was AMAZING! I always loved Erin Mallon but I really liked Lance Greenfield too.

Desperate Times Calls For Desperate Measures!

I'm quickly becoming a fan of Lili Valiente! I fell in the love the Magnificent Bastard series, and couldn't wait to listen to her newest series To The Bone. While the first book in the series had a slow start, it quickly picked up, and delivered a slightly dark suspenseful plot with lots of steamy chemistry. The story ends on a heart-stopping cliffhanger.... so I really hope we don't have to wait long for book two! ;-)

Some spoilers:
Young Caitlin Cooney has sacrificed going to college to raise her younger brothers and niece. Her mother has run off, her sister has left the county, and her father is unfit to raise the children. She's up to her eyeballs in debt, and is struggling to make ends meet. Just when things couldn't get any worse, she's hit with property taxes. If the taxes aren't paid and paid soon, they could lose their home. Needing a break from daily grind, Caitlin and her good friend Sherry go to a club to dance the night away, and run into Gabe, a rich guy who she knew from high school.

Gabe's looking for a distraction, a distraction that will take his mind off his problems, and he prefers the "one night stand" kind of distractions. After dancing with Caitlin, he's thinking she would be the prefect distraction, but she isn't biting. Before he leaves the club, he talks with Sherry who secretly tells him all about Caitlin's money woes. Caitlin needs money, and he knows the perfect scumbag who has money, money the scumbag would use to get out of trouble. Our modern day Robinhood, Gabe, devises the perfect plan to help Caitlin "acquire" the money. She's reluctant at first, but the more success they have implementing his plans, the more she is on board.

Gabe and Caitlin aren't just reallocating funds, they have real chemistry. Steamy! hot! Off the charts chemistry! But Gabe has a secrete, and can only give Caitlin the summer, but it's a summer they both agree to completely enjoy with nights filled hot, passionate, dirty, mind blowing sex! The more time they spend together, the more attached they become.

Lance Greenfield and Erin Mallon brought their A GAME and delivered a STELLAR performance! They both did an excellent job with the characters, dialogue, emotions, and really made this an awesome audio experience. Kudos!!

This was an excellent start to a new series, but has the dreaded cliffhanger! Can't wait for book two!

Bk 1 -Loving Dangerously

I REALLY enjoyed this book. I loved the whole dark, dirty talking, adrenaline craving ride despite the cliffhanger!

Gabe Alexander comes from a wealthy pedigree but takes chances and lives life on the edge. Then he bumps into an old school friend, Catlin and turns her summer upside down. Together they compliment each other, yet they're from 2 different worlds, live with different family values but the sexual tension is nearly combustible.

Erin Mallon and Lance Greenfield worked well together and articulate this novel so well you're immediately looking for book2.

Dark and romantic all at the same time

This wasn’t quite what I was expecting when I started this book. It’s definitely a bit disturbing, but also super sweet and hearty how Kaitlyn basically fave up her life to take care of her family. Gabe is just a piece of work. That the two of them have this crazy relationship is mind-blowing on its own. But the things they do...just wow. Not to say they aren’t good people, but vigilante justice is kinda out there. They both have their just motivations though, and one you learn more about Gabe - seriously, what does he have to lose? This book seriously takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. And the cliffhanger at the end!!! OMG! The narration is spot on! Erin and Lance just bring the characters to life! Love it! Have to get book 2 right now!!!

Always leave them wanting...

I'm so frustrated. That ending!!!!!!

A Love So Dangerous is a honest title. It's dangerous to the heart, the mind, and even your future. A love so encompassing...

I'm so desperate for book 2. I knew that twist was coming. I knew who it was but I still hoped it wasn't...

I can wait for the next one.

Fascinating and compelling

Fascinating story with likable characters. Gabe isn’t the bored, entitled rich boy and Caitlin isn’t the naive girl from the wrong side of the tracks. They are not perfect, far from, but that makes me even like them more. Often it is difficult for me to get into books with very young main characters (probably because I ‘m old enough to be their mum) but in this case I had no problem at all.
