Summary

After a brutal loss and messy divorce, surf, sand, and sun in the tropics are just what Autumn Taylor needs. What she doesn’t expect is Hunter, the devastatingly handsome man who doesn’t take no for an answer. Hunter Malone’s only priority after separating from his crazy ex is to enjoy vacation with his brothers. Laying eyes on a stunning brunette named Autumn changes all that.

What begins as a whirlwind romance has the potential to be something more. But the past always seems to have a way of complicating things. As things get tough for Autumn, she starts pushing away the best thing that has happened to her. Will Hunter stay by her side when she needs him most? Or will he let her push him away?

great story

This book touches on many difference life challenges. Hunter and Autumn's story is a path littered with heartbreak, loss and so much more. I think the author did a good job with the novel and i enjoyed the chemistry between Hunter and Autumn. The narration was great and added to the story. A good listen.

Good Book

This is a good book and I enjoyed listening to the story. I loved Autumn and Hunter's story, but I do have to say that Autumn kind of frustrated me. Instead of talking through problems she runs away. Her ex was a real piece of work and I get her insecurities. The chemistry between the characters was off the charts.

A Kiss Beneath the Stars

Autumn finally gives in and goes on vacation.Only she does not expect to meet Hunter. They decide to not give any personal information and leave paradise thinking they will never see each other again. Only fate has other plans. This is a sweet deeply heartfelt story, with many past struggles to overcome. Nice narration.

Every day !

If you want a story about an everyday relationship from start to book end.
Every relationship has up and downs, this is just THAT nothing more, nothing less !!!
Dissent writing but not that well executed, (Wild) just doesn’t do it for me !

Sorry but this is a do over ! Don’t waist your money.

I loved the over all story

I had a hard time giving the stars I did and may have to buy the book and see if it changes my mind. i just really felt the narrator made the MFC a whiny little thing and I really just wanted to slap her and tell her to grow the f up. I really had a hard time with that aspect but the story line was so good and I had to finish to find out if the MMC got his happy ever after. By the end of the book I didn't even care is she got a HEA only that he did.

It's so sugary that you risk cavities

A KISS BENEATH THE STARS is a very sweet romance. Both characters are adorable, and the angst is at the minimum–compared with the romance part. It’s so sugary that you risk cavities reading/listening to it.

It starts with a broken woman and a man not looking past a rebound; then it becomes a vacation fling; and the more the story progresses, the more the relationship deepens. That’s what I enjoyed the most. It felt kind of realistic–if you ever experienced that sort of fast romance (hint: I did).

The final twist, I saw it coming from the beginning, but I liked it nonetheless. It was the perfect ending for that little bonbon. A spicy bonbon at times, with hot scenes of love that aren’t really original, but that go well with the book’s mood.

So if you want your heart to swell a bit while reading/listening to a lovely romance, that one is for you.

Didn’t get under my skin..

I really wanted to like this story because the basic storyline is really awesome. But the main character is just a little bit too sad for my taste. Narration works really well with the sad part, but it’s the same sad narration all through the book no matter if it’s for the male or female. I needed something else towards the end.
