It's clear this is the his first stab at a proper book and it shows. But I loved how well thought through the concept was that I didn't mind the writing.

Lots of exposition in this one, but a promising start to the series. The characters felt a little lightweight and the story was not super thrilling, but the narrator does a good job, and keeps it interesting!

As the title mentions. JAG. But I am seeing NCIS & Law & Order in there, too. The bonus is, of course, "In Space" 100 years from now, speculating on National militaries progression from planet bound to Space Bourne operations. And, of course, the lawyers sticking their collective noses in.

But I am looking forward to reading the next 3 books.
