©2026 Sophia St. Germain (P)2026 Podium AudioThe parts I loved were - the characters, the love stories, the multi POV chapters as I was heavily invested in all the main characters and genuinely wanted to know about all of them with more than just little inclusions in other characters chapters, also I still don't quite know if it's the authors writing style, the story, the narration or what? that quite often pushes an insta cry button I never knew I had but there were so many parts in this book again that had me in tears, they are emotional, sad, heartbreaking, beautiful books, and overall I absolutely loved this series,
Now for why I feel conflicted, this was the fourth book to complete the series but it doesn't feel complete, this book actually felt more like it was a set up to a spin off series yet to come, which if that's the case and there will be one or more spin off's it's probably why a lot of the plot lines were left unanswered? not wanting to sound too whiny about it but it just seems a little unfair to those of us that were invested in this series, the ending felt quite abrupt and I'm still not sure what to think about certain happenings in the last few chapters, I was devastated, then relieved but those feeling aside and as emotional as that specific part made me - was it right? I don't know,
yet again the narrators were amazing, both were incredible - I do wish it had been duet rather than dual but it was still such a good listen.
