Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

GRK
I loved the accent and the way you had read the story but it lacked interest and I don't personally think that it was the best performance but a very interesting accent and enough emphasis was used at the right times throughout. And as a result of this I am giving this book a 10 out of

Action packed
My children and I all enjoyed all the Grk books. They are action packed, and don't shirk danger. And the danger is real, but Grk and his owner get through it with combination of luck and ingenuity. I can recommend for children from about 8 years old, especially boys (although my daughter also loved it!)

A Dog Called Grk
A great read. Both my 7 year old and I loved it. Very well read, exciting, funny in parts, good values portrayed about loyalty and doing the right thing in the face of fear and tyrrany.
