A Different Kind of Love

Brad and Emily face a very difficult situation... how to handle Trevor’s birth mother coming back and trying to insert herself into his life. Lorhainne Eckhart does a great job showing how this can have an impact on the entire family. I really felt for the characters. Once again Valerie Gilbert delivers a great performance. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Trevor’s story So worth the read/ listen to.

This is Brad and Emily's story, they go through life's struggles with Trevor and their other children. Trevor is an amazing boy who never seems to let anything get him down. But can Trevor and his parents get past Trevor’s birth mom showing up.

A Strong family can overcome difficult situations

This is an interesting story. It talks about a short slice in time from Friessens family. We can see happiness, sorrow, family relationships, love and support. This story also talks about second marriage and dealing with ex, living with lies and how much they might heart in the end. Narrator did a great job. She has given a unique voice and personality to each character. She has made this book very entertaining to listen.

Great job

This one was hard to listen to for me. I am a mom and a step mom so I put myself in her shoes and it made things even more real. The things she has down for their son is incredible. Autistic children can be hard to deal with sometimes but Emily gives him all of the tools he needs to succeed. Crystal coming in and not knowing a thing was a hard thing to watch. This is one heck of a great book!

Good book

I really like this series I like the fact that there is a disabled child I like the family bonds this one kind of upset me with the mother showing up trying to disrupt his family‘s lives but overall it’s a very good book
