Summary

Ruby Achera just wanted a nice, quiet drink at her family's casino in Magic City.

Great start

Ruby has returned home to Magic City after completing her degree. She is a Mist Elf who has been disguised as a human for most of her life - her parents haven't told her why.

She has to complete a task on Oriceran and in doing so, she now has a partner - Idryll the snarky shapeshifting cat woman.

Casinos are being attacked in Magic City so Ruby and Idryll set out to find out who and why.

Plenty of action and snark.

Good narration too.
