A stirring and entertaining war story. This author has a good handle on combat and war and writes a fine tale with tense combat sequences but also covered the effects of war on the characters. David Rintoul does a fine job with the narration bringing the story to life.

Stirring war story

Decent story, but a bit too much romance and soul searching for me, not One of Dougie’s best.

Human torpedoes

Another Reeman classic that has the usual twists and turns but enjoyable. Some quality problems in the last chapter which is frustrating.Narrator excellent as always

Another good listen

I do like Douglas Reeman stories usually however this one is a tired rehashing of a standard formula which was extremely predictable with unbelievable instant romances and clearly define baddies and goodies a poor example of his work
