Charles Dickens
Charles Dickens' most beloved work brilliantly performed! This Christmas classic will warm your heart as it did the first readers almost 200 years ago. It has never ceased to be popular, since it was first published in 1843.
Ebenezer Scrooge is a care-worn miser, who has forgotten the joy and happiness of giving. Christmas, as a time of charity, is an enemy which returns to harass him yearly. Scrooge sees the poor as a lower class of life altogether, not fit to live, until one Christmas Eve, a series of ghostly visitors confront Scrooge with his wrongs. Will the selfish old miser hear the lessons of Christmas past, present, and future? Or will he turn a deaf ear.
May this ghostly little tale "haunt your houses pleasantly", and may your own heart benefit by it.
