Unnecessarily simplified and over-explained.

As a fan of the original text, I was a bit disappointed by all the changes to make everything explicit, in particular giving the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come a whole load of lines! The fact that he is silent and offers Scrooge no comfort or reassurance is part of what makes him such a terrifying spectre in Dickens’ classic tale. Great performances by an impressive cast, but let down by a poor adaptation in my opinion.

Classic

Classic story, one that hopefully every generation can at least enjoy once in its original form. Timless & still enjoyable
