In dire need of a Level Up.<br />

While the adventures of the C&C gang is always very fun, after 6 entries in this side series, the status quo needs to change. The series so far has been circling the "low-level, newly arrived" time gap between book one and two for too long. The next entries should add elements from later entries, maybe have Kat and Chaz and have the C&C gang with their later higher level skills.

Better than Critical Failures proper.

Beginning to surpass the series proper for entertainment value, a testament to the strength of the original band of characters vs. the expanded group.

Worth every penny

Excellent series if you enjoy the style. If not well go get your credit back and write a trash review elsewhere. This wasn't for you in the first place, why did you even get the SIXTH miniseries book? You knew what was going on. Just like that time at the strip club buffet, when you had those clams. No need to spray shit on everyone else's good time.

Eachbon gets better than the last. Big thanks to the whole team. Bevan and Sleep nailed Dave's mom again!

BETTER THAN SEX*

The entire “Caverns and Creatures” series is laugh out loud funny, brilliantly narrated, and interesting enough to listen to again and again. Each night, I set my sleep timer and play myself a short story to fall asleep in a relaxed and happy state of mind.
Even if you no longer follow the main story told through Robert Bevan’s series of novels, these short stories are a perfect sized treat without committing to hours of listening.
This collection of short stories is perfect for anyone who has ever listened to an “actual play, ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ podcast,” anyone who has ever played “D&D,” anyone who enjoys sci-fi, fantasy, or comedy audiobooks, and anyone who IS NOT easily offended by jokes that walk the politically correct line.
In closing, I feel the need to address the bold statement made in the subject line of this review. This book is better than sex* because:
• it’s available on demand, never claiming a headache or that it’s “too tired”
• it involves much less effort to enjoy
• you can enjoy the book in far more social settings while: waiting in line, completing household chores, walking the dog, pretending to listen to your spouse, pretending to listen to your parents, spending time with your children, working out, enjoying your prescription of medical marijuana, enjoying your regular marijuana in Colorado... and many more!
• no potential for warts
• your spouse won’t be mad if you listen to this book with your step-daughter
• your spouse won’t be mad if you listen to this book with your step-daughter, her best friend, and the woman your spouse was “secretly” dating.

If you’ve wasted time reading to this point in the review, just buy the book and try it out when you’re in a mood to laugh. I guarantee you won’t regret it (and if you do, I personally guarantee Audible will allow you to exchange it). Enjoy!

* the statement “better than sex” refers to “sex” in the following particular circumstances: while at “shank” point on the first day of prison, while experiencing a bad LSD trip, on your parents’ bed... while your parents are in it, etc...

Funny as always

It was hard to not bust out laughing when listening to this book. Got a lot strange looks while at the gym and laughing when the hilarious parts popped up. If you need a good laugh and don’t mind language and rectal situations, then this is a book for you. If you’re uptight and overly picky about what you listen to as if you’ve mastered the ability to critique everything and have a stick up your bum, then you may want to steer clear of this one. It’s for those with an open sense of humor. Favorite part: when Cooper was describing the erotic situation that he got from that bear fetish stuff, along with Tim’s Bugs Bunny in drag fetish. It makes a Jessica Rabbit fetish look normal!

Ideal supplement

Your favorite low stakes stories are back. The perfect funny, profane, vapid way to whet your appetite between novels.

This is the 6th set of short stories to a series of novels that itself is at least 6 books in. If you're reading this, you know exactly what you're in for. And if you're a fan who's made it this far. [1] What's wrong with you? [2] You won't be disappointed.

If you like the other D6 books you will no doubt like this one. I have trouble getting into the short stories. I much prefer the full novels.

Great stuff

Thought I'd be done with these by now, but these short stories had me laughing out loud at times. I'm constantly impressed by the humor and wit of these books. Sure there's a ton of fart jokes, but the witty wording, the dialogue and distinct personalities of each of the characters are brilliant.
