Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

The Women's Murder Club face the fight of their lives in the latest thriller from the best-selling James Patterson series.

Three victims, three bullets, three cities.

Simultaneous murders in LA, Chicago and San Francisco - SFPD Sergeant Lindsay Boxer's jurisdiction. The shooters are precise, as is their target selection. Each one of the men and women down excels at an illegal and deadly activity that is dominating public debate. As the casualty list expands, the fear and fascination with this shooting gallery galvanise the county.

Are the shooter villains or heroes? And who will be next?

I did it again!

I promised myself I would not read or listen to anymore “Patterson” books just because I’ve read all the previous ones. Then I bought this. Pure fluff. I actually felt sorry for the narrator and I’m a fan of hers generally.

It started strangely and I should have given up then! I can only describe it as a summary of the relationships and how wonderful they all are! But it seemed like it was going to go on to be an introduction to a tv or magazine interview within the story! It was literally a précis to start the book! It’s book 20! We know!

And the number of conversations about meals!

Obviously, this is just me, but these books are no longer thrillers and there’s nothing wrong with that, except when it is purported to be one, if you enjoy chick lit you may enjoy this.

This is my last ever “Patterson”.

why publish rubbish

This is badly written rubbish. why this type of writing is promoted as good writing is beyond me.

Great

Another great story in the series. I keep thinking he will run out of plots but not so and I like going back to characters that have been built during previous books

20th Victim.

I love James Patterson. Read or listened to everything he has written. January LaVoy is very good at narrating. Does the different voices well.

Really didn't enjoy this

I really didn't enjoy this - I found it weird that the narrator did voices for all of the different characters because it made it feel forced (and all the male characters sounded really sleezy). I think it would have been better if the narrator just read the story in their normal voice. I really had to push through to finish it because I had paid for it.

Excellent

I have to give top marks for James Patterson. This W.M.C novel is exciting and with many storyline threads. It kept me wanting more every day. Keep them coming James 👍👍👍👍
