Piper Skye is rock 'n' roll. She's party all night, sleep all day. She's get wild and be free.

Or she would be if she had the time. And the energy. And not being so awkward would probably help, too.

As the owner of a thriving dessert business, Piper spends her days at school and her nights elbow deep in batter and frosting. She's confident her hard work and sacrifice will pay off as long as she stays focused and sticks to the plan.

Jake Hyde is a workaholic with a jaded outlook on life. Surrounding himself with employees he considers his brothers, he long ago made the decision that his custom garage would be his focus.

Fate, as it often does, has other ideas. Plus, a killer sense of humor.

Thrown together by coincidence, the gruff mechanic and the sweet as sin baker have instant sparks. Suddenly, all of their carefully made plans have taken a giant freakin' left turn.

And they do it on the back of a Harley.

Contains mature themes.

It absolutely didn't need to be as long as it was.
It felt very disjointed at points and the fact EVERYONE adored piper from the second they met her was just annoying.
Also the whole "Mr bossy pants" got old really fast.
The more the book went on the more I disliked piper tbh and Jake was kind of a d**k sometimes as well.

I didn't HATE this but I didn't love it unfortunately.

Great story, lots of tension and suspense. I’ll definitely be reading the next book next.

Great all round listen

Liked parts of this one a lot. A really hot love story and courtship with an awesome totally unexpected plot twist. I do feel the writing is a bit all over the place though. Parts starting without being established where they fit in the story, time going back and forth without explanation and some plot lines resolving without letting you know how or not being resolved at all, which all kind of takes away from the story. I usually like the longer stories, ‘cos you notice there being more substance, but it feels a little like instead of developing the good base story, which this truly was, more stuff was crammed in to fill out.
Liked the narration tho. Both Alex and Lauren did a great job.

Really cute but some unresolved questions

I really loved, loved this story. I have listened to literally hundreds of books ob audible and this is hands down one of the best. Everything was spot on, huge tums up to the narrators as well!

undoubtedly one if the best books I've read on Audible
