This is a manifesto for the 99 percent.

Unaffordable housing, poverty wages, inadequate healthcare, border policing, climate change - these are not what you ordinarily hear feminists talking about. But aren't they the biggest issues for the vast majority of women around the globe?

Taking as its inspiration the new wave of feminist militancy that has erupted globally, this manifesto makes a simple but powerful case: feminism shouldn't start - or stop - with the drive to have women represented at the top of their professions. It must focus on those at the bottom and fight for the world they deserve. And that means targeting capitalism. Feminism must be anti-capitalist, eco-socialist, and anti-racist.

I found the writing in this complex, yet nothing that was said I didn't know already. it was incredibly repetitive, and I think it needed more examples to back up its statements. I feel like If you were widely read enough to fully understand the theory, then all of the topics covered would already be familiar to you.

Ok text but wouldn't recommend

some interesting perspectives raised within the title , however I've read better . wasn't a fan of the orator, also it's quite a technical book debating the types of feminism and the approach the authors believe would be better to go about improving lives for women.
lacks human interest stories really and not enough examples to back up their opinions . I would have preferred more emphasis on specific examples .

not the best feminist text I've read

against the perceived effects of capitalism and neoliberalism on not only the majority of women, but on diverse racial and sociological groups, and on the environment. Clear thinking on the real position of most women around the world who carry so much of the (largely unpaid or underpaid) responsibilities for maintaining human life.
Good for Audible for including this long essay in their catalogue.

Strong polemic
