Twelve days of gay. That's the name of the video contest my boss wants to host this Christmas. Three couples, four short videos, each inspired by a line of the famous song. I signed up to be part of one of the couples competing, only then my friend dropped out.

Now my boss wants me to form a couple with her nephew - who happens to be the hottest man alive. Too bad he's also a jerk. Thing is, he might be my best shot at winning this contest and getting myself the money I need to start college. I can suffer through a few filming sessions with him for that, can't I? Put him in some really ridiculous outfits so I can forget how firm his abs are.

I don't know how I'm going to get through this holiday season with my sanity intact.

This is another fantastic addition to Ana Byrde’s #Love Wins series, an entertaining romantic comedy with plenty of laughs out loud moments that will leave you smiling ear to ear. It is the perfect story to bring holiday cheer and can be enjoyed any time of the year. Each book in the series stands on its own and I highly recommend each one of them, the characters and storylines are absolutely amazing. This fifth book is Chase and Ashton’s story, both are living at Aunt Rosy’s house, Chase is a model and also works around the house, Ashton is there as a guest and it irks Chase when he asks for things to be done but then again so does his good looks. Chase is looking forward to Aunt Rosy’s next promotion on her website, a competition of three couples competing for a large cash prize. Each couple will create four videos based on the day they pick from the 12 days of Christmas, hence the name of the competition “12 Days of Gay”. Chase does not have a boyfriend but asked a friend to partner with him for the competition, unfortunately his friend had to back out at the last minute because of a ‘serious’ injury. Chase does not want to withdraw from the competition but he has no choice, but Ashton tells him he does not have to withdraw that Aunt Rosy suggested he fill in. Chase agrees but adds stipulations, which Ashton was fine with, so the two set out to act out and film the day they picked, starting with a Partridge in a Pear tree. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a cleverly plotted story that contains a perfect balance of drama, humor and witty dialogue and steamy romance. And let not forget to give a shout out to Aunt Rosy and her hilarious shenanigans. Ana Bryde, thank you for another fabulously delightful story.

And for the wonderful narration, John Solo continues to do an amazing job bringing these characters and their stories to life. He has a complete understanding of the characters he portrays, gives each their own unique voice and personality, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. He handles the witty dialogue with ease and lands the humor effortlessly, never missing a beat. John Solo is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for another exceptional listen.

Ana Byrde writes fun, funny, feel-good, frisky stories and this is yet another fine example! Humor, heat, heart, she brings it all - including broken peen, wedding crashing, feisty Aunt Rosy, and some holiday shenanigans. Love the family, friends, pets aspect always present in this series. Great addition!
John Solo gives a wonderful performance & I gotta say, his "Aunt Rosy" persona is spot-on! Wonderful acting & voicing.

So, Casey lost his contest partner to an unfortunate accident. Ashton is there to save the day. Aunt Rosy is the middlelady, intent on bringing these two together even when they seem to despise each other. They are a cute couple and their video comes out nicely but I liked better that it really brought them together. Great narration by Mr. Solo. It was a fun holiday listen.

I really loved this book. It had all of the elements I usually look for in an MM: great characters, steamy scenes and an HEA. Add in the rom-com and John Solo’s audio performance and this was a big win for me.

This is another fun addition to the series, Casey and Ashton get together to make some videos for Aunt Rosy’s competition after Casey's partner pulls out with an injury. Videos are steamy scenes with chemistry. They do have to face miscommunication. John does a brill job in narrating this book.
