This was just pure joy throughout!!! In the beginning I was a bit unsure because of the whole gymbros lingo😅 but Brad is just so sweet you cant help but fall in love with him alongside Joey🫠♥️ its his words that i ended up highlighting & saving most. I absolutely adored this book - its like a warm hug (with spice😉). Also - little to no drama, angst, break ups etc. but lots and lots of banter! Narration in audiobook is truly outstanding also. Highly recommended!!

Omg i don’t think i have laughed so much for ages . Brad is so ridiculously oblivious to his surroundings it’s hilarious and the things he comes out with that had Joey stuttering because everything came across a come on.
When Brad says he’s going to be the best wingman ever and find Joey his happily ever after , Joey has to go through with it even though he knows he’s in love with sweet ridiculous oblivious Brad .

Brad an apparently straight dude, golden retriever and endearing Himbo, is super excited to make a new gym friend; only for his new gym friend, Joey, to think he's scored a date with the cute dude in the gym that he has a crush on. When Brad finally realises the misunderstanding he becomes dedicated to finding his new bro the perfect guy and a series of unsuccessful dates occur snd Brad starts to wonder if he might actually be the guy for Joey after all.

Brad and Joey were so adorable together, the earnest enthusiasm they both had for their friendship was really sweet and Joey's near constant crisis's over Brad's unintended innuendos was really amusing. Brad is so oblivious at times that you can't help but feel endeared towards him. I really enjoyed the overall humour and how the relationship between these two developed and in general I had a really enjoyable time listening to this. Its low angst, cute in a toothachingly sweet way at times with a sprinkling of spice. Nick J Russo narrates and as always did a fantastic job with his performance and was a joy to listen to. I've been in such a funk/slump lately and this was the easygoing listen I needed. 🌶🌶
