I was looking for something to kill time during the morning commute that wasn't just pop music. I was a bit worried about this topic being too violent for my younger ones, since the real events were pretty brutal. This audio does a great job of keeping the excitement of the battles and journeys without making it scary or gross.

They really liked the parts about how the city was founded and the different generals. It sparked a lot of questions from the backseat about how people lived back then. It is nice to arrive at school feeling like they actually learned something cool. If you have kids who like action but you want to avoid screen time in the car, this is a solid option.

Five stars all the way. Ten minutes felt like the sweet spot, just enough story to pull you in, quick enough to keep a teen or child listening. The mix of Roman history and adventure makes it feel like a fun break, not a lesson. Even the parts about Hannibal Barca were explained in a way they could easily picture.
