Summary

Lila Callan had an unconventional upbringing - unavoidable when your mother owns a brothel. But while she'd inherited some of her parents' 'wacky and offbeat', she was also strong, independent, and incredibly intelligent. The fact that she was tall, beautiful and blond was a bonus she never really cared to exploit. She wasn't uptight; it's just that long term was more her thing, with zero interest in one-night stands. Until she met Ryan York and then she isn't so sure.

Blindingly good looking.

Insane body.

Infectious sense of humor.

And charm for days.

Ryan York was movie star material. Except that he wasn't. He'd turned his back on the idea of hitting the big time, more content with being Eric Larsson's - his best friend who was a movie star - right-hand man. Despite his laid-back persona, he was a guy who could get stuff done. And women lined up to be done by Ryan. He did not have a problem with that. Not. At. All. Except his magical panty dropping powers didn't seem to extend to the lovely Lila. And she wasn't sure if she was going to teach the number one player a new game, or find one herself. One way or another, they were both getting naked.

Another winner from Tina Gephart

#1 Player is a fabulous addition to the #1 series. I even think that Ryan beats Eric in the swoon worthy stakes.

I listened to this one via audible and thoroughly enjoyed it. Good characters with laugh out loud moments, what's not to like?

Cute Story

I enjoyed this story, but all of the male characters sounded drunk or half asleep. It was super distracting.

love it!!

I love this author they made it so funny I loved it I laughed and had a stupid funny goofy face the whole time as I was listening to it. I love Ryan's character laid-back goes with the flow confidence. and poor Layla always a mixed emotions but that's all women pretty much. overall it was really good I'm so glad they made this book I was wondering about these characters. this is a stand-alone book you don't need to read the first one but it's pretty good too I'm sad it's ended but I can sleep tonight with a smile on my face

Ryan York! 😍

This is a great follow up to the first book. Lila is the bestie to Tia from #1 Crush, as is Ryan to Eric. They had some great banter in that book so it was inevitable that they needed their own full length story.

This novel had me riding all the waves with them. I was giggling, snorting and even had major tears! I loved the growth that both of them had throw out the book and how their affections crept up on them both. Now I need to read more in this series as I’m enjoying getting to know the whole gang.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the narrators secondary characters. It was distracting at times as they sounded too farce. My preference in audios is duet or dual narration.

good story line

I really don't like the voice of the person who narrated. The men sounded constipated. And she reads too fast
