So much wisdom in this book and listening to Glennon speak it from the heart, showing herself, her vulnerabilities was beautiful. I’ve learnt so much about myself and others when listening to this.

I love listening to all of Mel’s audiobooks and this one is no different. The coaching style Mel has is so unique and really resonates with me. I have taken so much for this audiobook that will give me the big kick up the behind to move forward in my career and life.

Someone recommended this book to me. It was good but quite repetitive and similar to a lot of other personal development books. Her story of how she has grown and become successful was good and it got me thinking.

What a wonderful book. Listening to the audio was great - Bréne has a great way of telling a story. So engaging.

A lot of lessons and insights. I’m going to buy the book as it will be one I pick up again and again.

The content of the book is really great and it was interesting to understand how our emotions and feelings have developed and changed over time. What brought down my score was Ruby Wax’s performance. I’m usually a fan of Ruby but the conversations she had when she was speaking with the Monk and Neuroscientist really grated on me. She cut them off short when they were saying relevant things and it was scripted not funny. I persevered and did enjoy the lessons but don’t think I’ll listen to an audio book by Ruby again. Maybe opt for the book.
