I can not even begin to say how utterly amazing this book is!!!! I read it when it first came out and waited forever for it to come to audio. There are some sound effects but if you don't let those bug you this story is worth all of your credits. Everything about this book is perfect. Its emotional and sweet, touching and romantic. The angst isn't as bad as you might expect from this but it will grip you from beginning to end.
Its perfect and an all time favorite.

Luke is a YouTuber known for his popular "Omega Manny Diary" videos. After a brief yet secret fling with his boss Ian’s best friend, he finds himself left with an even larger secret: Grazer’s baby. Grazer had a lot of fun with Luke, but he’d been up-front with him from the beginning. He’d always preferred to chase silver foxes - not young, fertile pups.

I thought this one was a little different from the others because of the second chance premise, and I enjoyed it. It's tricky to have fathers who don't know about their kids until later but I felt that the author handled it really well. She managed to still keep the book fun and fluffy even with all that was going on. As always a fun light listen.

Drew really has the choices nailed now for the guys of this series and he always makes them enjoyable!

Escaping the drug-induced limbo he existed in and running from his alcoholic mother and despotic grandfather, he finally finds some peace and a home on Rainbow Key. Noah is also running, even if he doesn’t realize it, and the guilt he feels over his brother’s suicide chases him no matter where he goes.

Charlie's book was the one that I was most eager to get to and I have to admit that I was a little nervous, but over all I loved it! There were a couple flip floppy and abrupt mood changes that I wasn't following along with but for the most part I thought that it was really spot on and I adored both guys. Their story was a bit of a slow burn, but I think that it needed to be, especially considering Charlie's difficulties. Each part of the story worked well, and I loved the ending.

The narration was completely spot on for these guys and I really felt the emotion of their story. A++

Rainbow Key - an idyllic island retreat off the west coast of Florida. Think wedding destination, white sandy beaches, lurve…except at the moment Joshua is struggling to pay the electricity bill, they’ve no paying customers, and even if they did they can’t afford the repairs from the devastating hurricane that struck three years ago – and to top it off they have to take in Daniel, a grumpy businessman who has been ordered by his doctor to take some time off before he has a heart attack from too much stress.

I enjoyed this one more than I expected to actually. It was a little predictable but not in a bad way and there were a few good surprises in there too. Each plot point was handled well and I really like all of the characters. I found their connection to be really believable and organic. Joshua is so lost and broken but really trying to hold it all together for is pulled together family and then Daniel comes in and just helps, catching Joshua completely off guard and tearing down his walls. The two are so sweet together and I adored them both. I also really enjoyed getting to meet all of the supporting cast and can't wait for some of their stories!

Ben was a model who believed all he had for himself was his good looks and his modeling career, and he clung to those desperately which affected his decisions and life choices. This created some tense moments and almost alienated his boyfriend Zach. Although frustrated by this, Zach still only sees the surface of the problem since he is busy jetting around for his own photography career. Then, one night a fight sends Zach running off to another remote location and a tragic fire that Ben survives, tears them apart. Now years later, with severe damage from the fire, Ben is hiding out from the world on a tiny little island retreat. Zach is now nearly blind and trying to deal with the loss of his life as he knew it. Desperate for a break, he runs to Rainbow Key to escape it all.

Second chance romances are one of my all time favorite tropes and I ate up the flashback scenes like they were candy. I was a little concerned that the whole model/photographer, scarred man/blind man concept was going to be just a little too cliche. Kinda cheesy, Kinda obvious, kinda just unoriginal. I was pleasantly surprised not to feel this way as the story progressed, though. I’m not sure how the author managed to pull that off but she did, and in my opinion, it worked great.

It was easy to see just how broken and terrified Ben was. His character was presented in a way that we could relate and understand his fears, heartaches and insecurities, which made it easier to believe his actions. There weren’t any big eye roll moments or thoughts of annoyance, because I connected and cared for him. I felt both his need to have Zach back in his life as well as the paralyzing fear of what that would mean. Likewise, Zach’s desperation at having lost everything was palpable. His mixed emotions were still clear and understanding, and not overly dramatic. As a reader, I fell in love with these guys and appreciated the way they fit together like a puzzle. It made their connection as well as their need and love for each other made them jump out of the page and came to life in a tangible way. It was beautifully done and inspiring.

The author does do some jumping around with the POV with in each chapter which always leaves me a little thrown but it didn’t pull me to much from the story or leave me feeling confused to the point that it affected the feel of the book in a negative way. All of the characters in this book were really genuine and kind and I felt a connection to each one. I can't wait to go back and read the books prior to this and will now wait eagerly for the next one in the series.

The narrator has a very soothing voice which I really enjoyed. At times it didn't match the drama of the situation but overall I thought it fit the story really well. This was true for the whole series really
