Elizabeth Gilbert’s voice was the first joy as I began listening to this audio book, it is luscious and velvety. I say this as someone from Britain who often gets tired of many American speakers on audio.
The content is relevant to anyone at all who can find focusing on tasks challenging and gets derailed and demoralised at times, you don’t need to be a “creative” necessarily. It is practical, funny and has some great stories to entertain you along the way while. A wise and delightful experience. Thank you so much, I am now going to get on with my creative work 👍

This book explains the science and practice of healthy alignment and movement and how to work towards it, offsetting the effects of our modern sedentary lifestyles and the changes they have effected on our bodies.

Katy Bowman gives careful consideration to how she communicates this information and is a truly great communicator. There are lots of photos and diagrams in the layout of the physical book and I bought this first. However because it is the sort of work I will keep revisiting as I deepen my understand and improve the way I move I was keen to listen to her read it too while out walking my dogs. There is a PDF available to accompany this audio book for folk who don't have the real book.

Listening to it made an enormous difference to my understanding of the principles and I recommend anyone to do it. This understanding has enabled me to improve my strength and energy as well as dramatically reduce muscle stiffness that I have been struggling with for at least fifteen years.
