I'm so pleased I decided to buy this book. Having watched some of the show on TV I decided to get the book as it was on offer. It is a real treat to have the two authors narrate the book as you really feel that you are just listening in to two friends having a chat. Not into fishing at all but that didn't make this any less one of the best books I have listened to in a while.

I enjoyed the mix of cases and the inner workings of a career at the bar. A great read and a treat to be read by the author.

I enjoyed the story but it was left a little unresolved which was a little frustrating.

I had been meaning to read this book for quite some time. It gives a great history of nuclear defence and the fragility of the infrastructure that lies behind mutually assured destruction. From Hiroshima to the Clinton years I give you great insight into the people and the places that were responsible for this fascinating post-war period standoff. Highly recommend, can be a little serious at times but that's how I like my books.

A brilliant follow up to the Stephen Fry Mythos book. A stand alone book as well as part of a series. Cannot wait till part three arrives!

Not the easiest book which isn't helped by the choice of narrator. A good detailed account of The Conquerer heavily using the words of The Chroniclers to navigate to a good and accurate view of his life. If like me you find medieval political evolution and some good old fashioned wars then you will love this book.

Really enjoyed this retelling of the story of King John, an in depth and fascinating insight into one of England's more controversial Kings. From his relationship with his brothers to his various and ultimately disasterous campaigns in Europe and closer to home. Far more than just Magna Carter a great way to learn about a underated period of England's history.

If you crossed a great detective novel and mixed it with a little Divinci Code you would begin to get close to what kind of book this is. A serial killer is terrorising the streets of London. But this is not just any murderer, the suspect has ties to another time in history, a secret of the Vatican is the reason this all started and that's before we even start looking at the relationships between the characters. A great if not slightly different kind of crime novel.

Interesting storyline and well read.

Wow! I read this book in one day. Going through Trevor Noah's younger life growing up in apartheid South Africa and beyond. This is a truly fabulous book with a story and outlook that is both funny and tragic all at once. I cannot find anything to say other than you must read this book!
