Loved the previous 20 audio books and really did not enjoy this one! A shallow unconvincing story with no real twist and quite predictable.

Oh well I've waited a year to write this review as the next book is about to be released. I only hope it is on a par with the first 20 otherwise I will not continue with this series.

Narrated by the author this book breaks down the whole show into bite sized nuggets of vital information helping even dumb people understand that they can lose weight, get fit and work towards a healthy lifestyle that puts them in a better position to avoid the all too common "modern" diseases and illnesses that are accepted as "normal" because of the lies and mis-information we're subjected to from birth.

If you can't read that out loud without taking a breath then YOU NEED TO GET THIS BOOK!

Real advice from a real Doctor in "Plain English".

I wished he'd have been even more critical in places but on the whole the prescriptive nature of the book delivers the information fairly. Loved it.

Renowned neurologist David Perlmutter, MD, blows the lid off a topic that's been buried in medical literature for far too long: carbs are destroying your brain. And not just unhealthy carbs, but even healthy ones like whole grains can cause dementia, ADHD, anxiety, chronic headaches, depression, and much more.

I doubt Mr Warburton is going to read this (for non-UK readers Warburton's is the name of a bread producer in the UK) as their profit is derived from feeding the nation crap - badged up as "Healthy Whole Grains". Cheap to produce, easy to market and highly addictive this modern manufactured "food" makes up part of the average diet and is one of the reasons heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer's & dementia is all too prevalent in our world today.

Dr Perlmutter will take you through the details in a compelling argument and you'll be going back over some of the information as you attempt to clear your kitchen cupboards of the things that are killing you!

Sill doubtful? Then read Wheat Belly afterwards.

The injuries he sustained pushed him within inches of death. Miraculously, after five months in the hospital and more than 40 operations, Matt was able to start his recovery. This book chronicles Matt's road to recovery as he teaches himself to walk again and, a mere three years later, to run in the 2008 New York City Marathon.

He does spend a lot of time promoting his other products and Miracles Coaching in this plus there are various other story tellers on here too & one of them sent me to sleep - really! I woke up feeling great though...

There are some great sections and if you're a JV fan like me then this is a must listen. If you only know JV from The Secret then start with The Attractor Factor 1st.

If you're a man of a certain age you'll know there comes a point in life when getting a sports car and over-analysing your contribution to society sounds like a really good idea. With a good job in sales and marketing and a nice house in Manchester that he shared with his wife and kids, John Bishop was no different when he turned the dreaded 4-0. But instead of spanking a load of cash on a car that would have made him look like a senior stylist at Vidal Sassoon, he stumbled onto a pathway that ultimately lead him to become one of the nation's best loved comedians.
