Only criticism is that it was hard to tell the girl’s voices apart. Laura Dern was a good narrator.

Nice feel good story for the dark winter evenings before Christmas. Story occasionally repetitive as the same events are narrated from diff rent characters’ perspectives but doesn’t detract too seriously.

Sometimes hard to hear all the dialogue when the narrator is putting on male voices (but I am usually doing something else whilst listening so may not be a problem if you are concentrating)

Extremely gripping and well told story. Deals with difficult issues very well. Had to sit and listen through to the end.

Good story which switches between times to reveal the secrets which have torn a family apart and ultimately bring them back together. Would be a good beach read!

Excellent read, draws you in and keeps you hooked right through to the gripping conclusion. The three narrators characterise the main protagonists perfectly.

Not as satisfying as the novels but definitely worth a listen. Interesting to hear from Ian Rankin about his development as a writer.
