This was a very gripping story that was brilliantly read by all of the cast.
I sort of found this one by accident and I am so glad that I did. Most of the reviews I read prior to my purchase were spot on. I’d love Sarah Vaughn to write a follow on or something similar. I will keep an eye out for future work by her. Very nicely done to all concerned

A very happy and counted, Paul

The story really had me hooked and eager for more In the series. Stuck through the cringeworthy attempt at anything other than an English accent and the wait for Paul Thornley to take the reigns later on in the series of books in this series was well worth while. I won't review more in this series but the stories to follow are well worth the read and I have them all in my library to prove it

I found this one to be an overall good read. When I was in my teens I broke my wrist after a motorbike accident and whilst in plaster I found it totally impossible to ride an automatic scooter let alone a 900cc monster at breakneck speeds so there was more than a hint of "poetic licence" in this one for my taste and there was a feeling of "girl power" too. All in all it was a good story and so well worth the credit I spent on it

I really loved this tale from the 1920's. It is a departure from my usual books but when it came up as a FREE BOOK I just couldn't resist. Five Stars all around are well deserved as I could find very little to critisise and I was sorry when the book came to an end some 12h 39m later....Time well spent I'd say :-)

Beautifully read and an engrossing story... I am so glad I went for the book instead of the DVD!

I quite liked the two-pronged story but I felt it did just fissile out in the end. This is my first book Peter Robinson and I would consider the next one in the series but only if they changed Simon Slater. His reading really annoyed me in places as he seems to stop reading in mid sentence only to carry on and his annunciation is truly awful in places. Sorry to be so negative but there are much better books in this genre so I would give this one a miss if I only had one credit and no new books in the library!

I really loved this book,It isn't my usual detective and murder story and it appealed to the "soppy" side of me and I really didn't want it to end! I really liked the main readers voice of "Lou" and so everyone is a winner!!
It is another one that comes highly recommended from me

I really enjoyed this book, the reading performers are really great and I got totally absorbed for the first half. It did get a little tedious as we jumped from character to character as the storyline seemed to slow down a little too much as more people were introduced and not really used to move things on. Well worth a credit though... Well half a credit if you got it in the two-for-one sale as I did

I found the story a little slow to get going but it is well worth a credit. If you like a storyline that is fragmented into multiple parts and is constantly switching from one to the other then you will like this and there is a great (if a little soppy) twist at the end which I never saw coming. I've added the author to my "watch list" for future credit spends. Paul Thornley did a great job with the reading too.

I really enjoyed this book. The story moves along at a good pace and I really enjoyed the late night "one more chapter before sleep" time with this book. Luckily I was on holiday so late nights were no problem. Well worth a credit in my opinion
