Loved every word. Bravo Kim on so many levels. Superb narration. I am humbled by the bravery of Kim and every man, woman and animal who fights for their country.

I have loved all S G MacLean's books and this didn't disappoint. I disagree with all comments made about the narrator.

but sadly not for me. Potentially a great book, but too many characters I didn't care about and a plot that was a bit flabby.

This story veered between greatness and apathy. Started well and dribbled to a sad end somewhat like the shower scene in Dallas when it all turned out to be a dream and Bobby was still alive!

loving this series of books, but wondering why Stephen Leather has a habit of writing female characters in such a negative light - he must have witnessed a lot of negative controling women in his life 😣

I found this book a little slow to get started and the characters a bit scratchy until the layers were peeled away, but boy the ending..... didn't see it coming and it really got me on the emotional department. There were tears. Highly recommend

I thought this was going to be another over hyped best seller that didn't stack up...... but boy was I surprised. I was gripped from the outside, by the storyline and the exceptional narration. I didn't see the twists until they hit me in the face. Clever, clever, clever and did I mention the unbelievably fantastic narration. Just wow!

I am working my way through the Spider books, but this has to be the worst so far. The family dynamics are unrealistic and the mother in law a ridiculous passive aggressive bully. This storyline is too far fetched and added to the terrible audio skips and the narrator who appears to have left his teeth at home..... sad to say....disappointed.

Was wary to begin with in case this book was over hyped, but it lived up to expectations and the narration was superb!

Loved this story, loved the plot twists, thought I had nailed the outcome, then changed my mind, then changed it back again, then changed my mind....repeat to fade. The narration was simply amazing.....the emotional investment in the narrative shone through....well done!
