This was a great follow up to the first book in the series. I enjoyed every minute of it, there was action from the start and right up until the end. I hope this is the start of a very long series. The stile reminds me of vince flynn or brad thor and stephen leather. If you like any of these then give this series a try you wont be disappointed.

Raised and trained as part of a top-secret programme, he was sent to the worst places in the world to do things his government denied any knowledge of. Then he broke with the programme and disappeared. But now someone's on his tail. Someone who knows he was once known simply as Orphan X.

Ben hale is fast becoming my number one author, i have loved every audio book he has done. I enjoy the idea of doing lots of different trilogies all around the same world and magic system. The only slight downer on this book is that he has changed the narrator for this trilogy and he does a very good job. But i am just used to Derick Perkins. I have already downloaded the other 2 books in this trilogy and can't wait to find out how this ends. So all in all 5 big stars from me.

I think that this author and narrator make possibly the best combination and i could listen to them all day. If you enjoy listening to authors like Tom Wood, vince flynn, stephen leather, brad thor and tom clancy then you are going to love this series. All i can say is just give it a go.
