Not the same level of excellence I've expected from LJ Ross and Dci Ryan and Philips. Seemed a bit of a rush... Hoping Penshaw is back up to muster!

I was gripped from the word go. really good storyline. interesting characters and good twists and turns. not sure if it's because I have read and listened to so many books like this but I did figure it out towards the end but still great book and definitely worth a read! want to read more by Sandie Jones. Clare was good at narration but did startle me at times with my over the top volume controls...

this book will make you laugh (out loud!) and likely get you from the get go (it did me!) Clare has helped me start a new AF journey which is exciting and challenging all at once. I wouldn't have started without the help of Clare and her inspired story! if you want to cut down drinking, moderate, stop or just want a good book that will make you laugh at and feel good reading - get this. I found myself missing Clare and her family when I had finished and want to be her friend!!!

I enjoyed this book. The narrator's style was annoying and a little over the top on occasion but seeing beyond this it's good if not a little far fetched. I had guessed certain people were involved but not how. Jo as a character is a little annoying as she is seemingly just super perfect despite everything.
