Danielle Stevens is Hollywood's "next big thing" in a long line of next big things. When she goes to Dallas to prepare for a role - shadowing Detective Harper Jeremiah - she's not only running from her fame...she's also running from a stalker. Harper Jeremiah wouldn't recognize a Hollywood actress even if she bumped into one on the street. But the perceived babysitting gig quickly turns into a protection detail as the threats against Dani escalate.

Although not an original type of story ( I've read similar ) this was well written with smooth dialogue and nicely paced action. The love scenes get a two star rating from me... One being none to tame. Two.. Nicely mild ( mildly nice!? ) Three is hot under the collar steamy and Four stars means have a bucket of ice handy to sit in after listening ( if you want that listen to The Midnight Moon by the same author.... Phew!!๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜) As an after thought, although she deserves much more than that, the narrator, Genvieve Bevier, was superb and has now become a favourite of mine to look out for ( Abby Craden.... You have competition! ๐Ÿ˜„ ) So.... a great story, believable as well as likable characters, brilliant narration, a few mildly steamy love scenes... Don't really want more than that, do you? Maybe a glass of wine... Or two ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘

It was a fun, holiday romance under a moonlit sky. After exchanging passionate nights and only first names, Peyton Watts and Logan Weaver go back to their lives. For Peyton, itโ€™s a return to her steady, conservative social circle and the not unwelcome overtures from attorney Margot Joseph. Meanwhile, Loganโ€™s free spirit is happy again moving with the college crowd. So when fate throws them once more into each otherโ€™s paths, it shouldnโ€™t mean a thing....

Great story, Abby Craden narrating was as awesome as ever, loved Logan's character but there was the occasional moment when I could have slapped Peyton! Follow your heart girl!!! Loads of flirting, steamy love scenes, funny one-liners. Give it a go... It'll be fun ;-D

Homicide detective Mandi Murphy had seen enough bloodshed on the streets of Houston to last a lifetime. After a botched drug bust left a friend dead, she wanted out of the city. Peaceful little Sawmill Springs seemed like the perfect spot to start over. Six weeks on patrol proved the town to be as quiet and serene as she'd imagined.

Good story, believable characters. Loved the flirting between Murphy and Kayla :-) some funny one-liners too. Took a little while to get into the story but one of my favourite narrators so would definitely recommend.

Some believe that special someone is out there just waiting to be found. Jorie Andolini is one of those people and has spent a lot of time envisioning that moment. She bumps into a woman at a grocery store, the woman drops a can of peas, Jorie picks it up, their eyes meet, and two souls connect. But it's actually a wasted trip to New York, a snowstorm, and a canceled flight home that puts her in the path of Lena Vaughn.
