I don’t have a guru, but if I did, it’d be Mel Robbins. I can recognise myself in so many situations and experiences of these coaching sessions, as well as knowing others who could benefit from this too. The coaching sessions all have something to teach us, and I found it profoundly moving as well as useful for myself and tools I can use going forward, to be the best version of me. I honestly don’t know any person apart from Oprah who has the innate skill to connect, to cut through to the point, and to show the way for people to work it out for themselves without being patronising in any way. Mel is such an important voice in personal development and empowerment. I’m grateful she’s here and I get to learn from her

I absolutely loved this book. Too often, there is a lot of pressure in our industry and socially to be absolutely perfect at all times, never speak your mind, be holier than though and judgy AF. So for me, this book really spoke to me, and I’m allowing myself to be more authentic and more ME on my social media now and in my Network marketing business (I’m with a different brand than Peta, but it all still applies). Thank you Peta for being Human AF

There are lots of books on the market about making & keeping money. But very few books by female authors, particularly who specifically focuses on the female Entrepeneur. I found this very relatable and current, with great advice and tools for changing your mindset about money. I highly recommend listening, and Denise’s voice both physically and metaphorically comes through this audio book perfectly! If you’re a female boss babe aiming to earn the big money, this is a must listen

I love Mel Robbins. If you haven’t read her book The 5 Second Rule, I highly recommend it, especially as an audio. I don’t know any author who speaks with such humanity, who’s direct but completely without judgment and who’s as funny and on point at the same time. Bar Oprah and Maya Angelou (whom I also adore) she has the most comfortable, warm, raspy and deep voice which is so pleasant to listen to. I could hear her all day long and never get sick of it. I love that she’s as honest with herself as she demands of the people in this book.
Don’t listen to it in public unless you’re prepared to bawl your eyes out in plain view. I’d say most people will feel triggered emotionally by at least 1 of the stories shared by the very brave and wonderful people who signed up to be coached by Mel. It’s not always easy listening, but there’s also a lot of laughter in between which is a great release. I felt it made me look at my own life and what brought me to where I am today. We all have a story. Everyone has a past. Everyone has pain of some kind. This deals with some of them.
I had the great pleasure of hearing Mel LIVE at my global training conference this year as she was our main speaker for our health & beauty brand. She blew us all away and I’ve rarely felt so empowered and fired up in my whole life!!! See her live if you can. But first, get the 5 second rule or this book. And no, she doesn’t pay me, I just love her work. My favourite motivational speaker.

Mind blowing!

This is one of the most useful books I have heard/Read when it comes to network marketing/social marketing.
It’s easy to get caught up in the yes’s, paralysing your ability to act, and attaching too much emotion to your outcome. This book gives a fresh way to look upon prospecting and one I’ve found very useful. It ties in nicely with another favourite book of mine, the 5 second rule by Mel Robbins.

One of the most engaging and most useful books I’ve ever read.
Mel Robbins is a phenomenal writer, and in an ocean of pompous, male self help universe of writers, she’s a blessed relief with her honest, compassionate, human, practical & gender neutral method (& her examples are all gender balanced), that can literally be applied to everything in life, and it’s all backed up by scientific studies. I could listen to Mel all day (mine is an audio, & she’s such an engaging speaker).
I’m already using her tools, and it’s having a noticeable positive impact not only on my work but also on my personal life.
