If you have watched game of thrones and got annoyed that they wanted to subvert expections, I don't think you'd be happy with this ending.
I suppose its my own fault for expecting a fantastical ending but the gods get way to involved in this book and without spoilers its hard to say why it left me quite angry that persons just get away with things they have done in the past and some people turn out useless.

Narrator was awesome and the story still has good moments but shame about the end.

I didn't have a clue what I was getting when buying this book but it turned out to be a lot of made up nonsense. The story doesn't really go anywhere and often found the book boring and i stopped listening for a few days. The narrator is good and has a few good accents but I don't think I could save the story.

Surprised how good it was

Didn't really know what to expect from this book and glad I dove in. It gave me some laughs and nearly had me crying at one point. I think the narrator did a great job also

I listened to this book years ago and thought Id come back to it. This time I found the narrator boring, he didn't have a wide range of voices for other characters either. The story is pretty bland, pretty much a wiki on video games.

It's okay if you want a nostalgia trip

A bit like the first with not much happening

I had to listern to the start first book twice before I committed to the second. The story is fine but seriously with an immortal beings that can travel anywhere they don't do much. Its okay but I'm not that bothered about hearing the next book

Great story, can't wait to start next book

It's hard to get your head around who's talking cause the voice of characters change. Also it throws so many different names and you very early and I started to lose track of who's who.

I stopped listening to this book for about 6 months and finally came back to finish it and after starting over again I got it.

It's a decent listern but a bit predictable

Needs more of the coring deliverers. There is far to much padding with stories that go no where like Elisas mum having a kid, ragons wife injuring her leg.

30 hour book with what it feels like only 2 hours spent in the core with the best characters. Then to end it all the way it does, it has no pay off at all.

Life lesson learned - if it's a series of books read reviews of the last book first to make sure it doesn't start to drag

Not much really happens. New characters getting added this late in the story seems a bit ex machina
