An extremely abreviated but still entertaining retelling of Stardust. The actors are good, but since the script is so truncated it often feels as if the character- and relationship-development happens to quickly.

The great Norse myths are woven into the fabric of our storytelling - from Tolkien, Alan Garner and Rosemary Sutcliff to Game of Thrones and Marvel Comics. They are also an inspiration for Neil Gaiman's own award-bedecked, best-selling fiction. Now he reaches back through time to the original source stories in a thrilling and vivid rendition of the great Norse tales.

A nice way to listen to some norse tales. If you've read a lot of other versions this one might not add much, but Neil Gaiman clearly revels in the telling of these stories and his love for them shines through in his narration.

These "galbraith-books" are very well written, well crafted and have solid thriller/noir plots, but I still feel like something's missing. Like I'm looking at an android instead of a human: a perfect piece of machinery, but no heart.
