how enthralling this audiobook/book was! holy-too-many-words to describe I got little to no work done because I kept jumping/screaming/yelling at almost every turn, no going back, no turn back! my friend recommended this to me and I wasn't interested thinking that the movie looked like a clash of too many things to work (still haven't seen the movie but I will now) but my surprise and elation throughout this book was great and I live under a rock, i imagine that if you actually know most of the references they make you will have double the fun heady in nostalgia, read it! listen to it! Wheaton is perfect as the narrator, worth every credit!

I found that each story elicited some sort of emotional response from me, some subtle like the peace after a smile and some strong like the abyss after loss, well worth a listen to.

I never thought about the effects of colonialism, I download this series because the way my brother talks about the british empire annoys me, even angers me, but I never understood why, although ignorant myself I knew there was something large and multifaceted about the British empire and its residual effects on current society's around the world, I now feel like I have a foot hold on this long climb up, well worth a listen, worth talking about and sharing.

first time I've listened to something like this, I think it's a good way of getting an idea of what the full book has and if like me your scared of self help in general it's a good taster, makes me more confident in self help generally.

I've always loved the idea of trying to see the world through other animals eyes, the idea helped me understand a spiders fear, a new form of empathy, listen to this series friends it's worth it.

it's hard to describe how this book made me feel, it's well worth a listen no doubt, the complex slow descent of blinders on a person's perception is always hard to describe, there hardly any words, listen, learn from the pain, learn to fight the people who take things which cannot be returned.

this series was recommended to me by a friend, I was enchanted by the narrators voice and Audrey Hepburns life that I finished the entire lot in one day, well worth a listen even if like me you knew little about her
