Sadly, having listened to many Sherlock Holmes presentations over the years this is well below par compared to others such as BBC Merrison & Williams, Merrison & Sachs even the Hobbs & Shelly BBC Collection..

For me the delivery and acting for me fail to impress it seems overacted & the story lines seem somewhat exaggerated at best. I wish I could say something more positive about the Drama, technically very well presented but unfortunately the acting and overall presentation of the drama lets it down..

I had planned to purchase more of these Audio's as I enjoy the Holmes and Watson franchise now I shall not.. I feel I have to give an honest opinion on the Drama this time

What did you like most about The Lives of Harry Lime, Volume 1?

I enjoyed this collection of Harry Lime stories The Adventures of Harry Lime is one of the most successful series created by prolific British radio producer Harry Alan Towers and his company Towers of London. Towers quickly bought the rights to the character and in 1951 he put a syndicated radio series into production. Orson Welles reprised the role of Harry Lime in a series of adventures that preceded the story told in The Third Man..
So if you enjoyed the film and character Harry Lime you will enjoy this series as I did..
